This one came together relatively quick compared to my usual illos. I enjoy the freedom of digital painting because of the ability to experiment without fear. Any critiques are welcome.

Came out looking great!

Hi, i think it realy looks great!

But there are a few things that jumped into my eye. First of all, i think the lamp in the right upper corner gets to much attention (lightest spot in the picture and should it be there?). Should this be more of a kids lamp (the curls /style doesn't fit with the rest of the interior)?

The kids head has almost the same values as the pillow and for my opinion the head is disappearing in the pillow (even a part of the blanket, because this has the same color as the pillow)).

I think the monsters tail is kissing the opject in the front (doesn't feel right).

Goodluck and keep up the good work :-)

I thought you would go with a more traditional blueish colors characteristic of night scenes but I must say the greens fit the whole image as well. Waiting for more :)

Ah! once again you amaze me with your color choices! :) Great work! The image itself speaks soo many story possibilities!

Wow! I am digging the over all look!
The creature really feels heavy and voluminous.
Dig the color choices and palate. They work well together.

Brandon, your blog is amazing and oozes inspiration. I can stare at your work for forever because the colors the composition, and the style is in perfect sync. That's just me being honest here.

I really like how loose you kept it - the bigger read is crisp and it all holds up well together. It's so easy to noodle little details in digital and ignore the larger composition
