Monsters, Girls, Superheroes
My favorite things to draw in no particular order are: monsters, girls, and superheroes. Look at most of the animated industry artists and you'll find I'm not alone. I do not enjoy drawing backgrounds. I have to force myself to care about the environment. In my experience I've found that most artists like one or the other and usually specialize. There are some though, that excel at both - I hate those people:)

cool image!
A question for you. Do you do vis dev as well? From looking at your paintings, it seems like you would
Rad,
Thanks for the comments, man! I admire your work a lot. In answer to your question: I'm just a story guy. I do love to paint though and that's usually what I do after hours. There are so many talented painters out there. I'm such a wannabe. I guess I'm like that with story too but I had to pick my "least sucky" specialty:)
Great image here man. love the soft lines.
I like Girls Too! Insert Beavis and Butthead laugh here.
hey thanks! your work is AMAAAAAZING. yeah BYU's been great so far-- i think there's a few alumni over there at sony with you actually.. maybe?
Brandon,
Hope all is well and your holidays were peaceful. I have a challenge for you, if you're up to it.
Have you seen my Biohazard Boy series of images? They are shots of my son Max in a gas mask, and we take pictures together making up interesting stories about him coping with asthma and allergies. Any chance you could sketch up an animated version of him in character? All the images, for reference, so far are on my blog. I would be VERY interested to see the results!
really awesome drawing man!
Diggin the loose lines.
Hey Brandon :-)!!! It's always a pleasure to visit your blog and hava alook to your fantastic works, your style is soooo beautiful, greeaaattt!!! Cheers my friend!!
Great stuff here!.
I envy people that are able to draw either characters or backgrounds!
I like to pretend that it is humanly impossible to love and master both!
How can you go wrong with a title like: Monsters, Girls and Superheroes?
It's like pulling into an 80's 3d drive in double feature.
My imagination swirls with possibilities!
Great drawings man!
Solid!
